Information You Provide

FitMitra may store or process the following information when you use its features:

• Account information such as email address and basic profile details when you sign in.
• Fitness profile details such as height, weight, goals, workout preferences, and activity records.
• Food logs, nutrition entries, custom foods, barcode or label scan results, and meal history.
• Workout plans, exercise history, completed sets, notes, and progress summaries.
• Progress photos or meal photos that you choose to add from your camera or photo library.
• Feedback or support messages that you choose to send by email.

How Information Is Stored

Most workout, food, progress, and photo log data is stored locally on your device by default. If you use account sign-in, selected account and profile information may be processed with Firebase services to support authentication and account access. Local backup features create files only when you choose to export or restore data.

Camera, Photos, and Scanning

FitMitra may request camera or photo access so you can add progress photos, meal photos, scan barcodes, or read food labels. Images are used only for the feature you selected. The app does not require you to add photos to use its core tracking features.

Notifications

FitMitra may request notification permission to send reminders for meals, workouts, water, weight updates, or other tracking habits. You can turn notifications off in the app settings or in your device settings.

Analytics, Remote Configuration, and Advertising

FitMitra may use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Remote Config, and Google Mobile Ads. These services may process device identifiers, app activity, diagnostics, approximate location inferred from network information, and advertising identifiers where permitted by your device settings and applicable law. This information helps improve app reliability, configure features, and show ads.

Third-Party Services

• Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Remote Config.
• Google Mobile Ads.
• Google ML Kit features used for barcode, image label, or text recognition tasks.

How We Use Information

• Provide fitness, food, reminder, backup, and progress tracking features.
• Authenticate your account and support account-related features.
• Improve app quality, detect issues, and understand feature usage.
• Respond to support requests and feedback that you send.
• Show ads and manage app configuration where those features are enabled.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers listed above, by your device platform, or when required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, or support. If you use share or export features, you control the destination and are responsible for the data you choose to send.

Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app, remove the app, or restore from backup. Account-related data may be retained as needed to provide account access, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. You may contact us to request account or privacy assistance.

Children's Privacy

FitMitra is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

FitMitra provides self-tracking and general fitness information. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health, diet, or exercise decisions.
